The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:

Logistics Assistant



1-Vacancy No. : 025/2014/X
2-Duty Station : Field Office Jerusalem
3-Department : Logistics Department/ Impound Logistics Unit
4-Grade & Salary : Limited Duration Contract (LDC) - Band “D” – S 1
: 864.4$ that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
5-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits (Medical Insurance) &
Currency Adjustment Factor.

6-Qualifications:
-Diploma 2 years in logistics, business administration, public management or equivalent.
-At least two years experience in administrative work, preferably related in supply chain operations, procurement or logistic operations.
-Good knowledge of spoken and written English.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS
Preference will be given to BA holders.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
-Valid driving license.
-Good working knowledge of spoken and written Hebrew.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
It is desirable to have advance skills in MS Office Suite Applications, Sound organization skills, Capacity to work under pressure and beyond working hours if required, advanced training course in business and office practice.
