Job Opportunities - Programme Description :The Palestinian Market Development Programme (PMDP), is funded by UK Department for International Development (DFID)
and the European Union (EU) in-cooperation with the Ministry of National Economy and implemented by DAI Europe over a period of five years, with offices in Ramallah and Gaza.
The programme has been designed to improve market systems and improve the competitiveness of the Palestinian private sector. 
PMDP aims to improve private sector competitiveness through technical assistance and matching grants.

Additionally, PMDP will work on strengthening trade and investment linkages as well as linkages with the Palestinian Diaspora to play an active role in economic development in the OPTs. 
We are currently Recruiting for the following positions:

Business Development Advisor (Quality Assurance) - Ramallah Office
The Business Development Advisor, based in Ramallah, will work on the delivery of the matching grants component to improve private sector skills and innovation. The Business Development Adviser together with the team will work closely with grantees to innovate and enhance their products / services and/or processes, and enter new markets. The Business Development Advisor should use his/her conceptual skills in quality assurance to provide technical assistance in operations related areas in accordance w/ best practices.

Key Skills & Qualification 
- Bachelor of Science (BS.C) Degree in industrial engineering is a MUST. 
- At least 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, operations. 
- Experience in consulting / advisory position that works in quality certification, quality control, process engineering, and problem analysis is a PLUS. 
- Strong knowledge in business development for SMEs is a PLUS.

Trade and Investment Advisor- Ramallah Office 
The Trade and Investment Advisor will work with PMDP team to explore and engage with target international markets to build trade and investment linkages with focus on Palestinian diaspora. 
The advisor role will contribute to the design and implementation of institutional development and capacity building activities to private / public sector. Contribute to the design and implementation of the Trade and Investment representatives, and Palestine Diaspora Linkages programmes.

Key Skills & Qualification 
- Strong knowledge of the Palestinian economy, previous experience in Institutional development work and a track record of trade and investment linkages development. 
- 5 years related experience 
- Experience in building relationships with numerous organizations including governments, NGO's, and private enterprises.

Communication and Outreach Specialist- Ramallah Office 
The PMDP Communications & Outreach Specialist, based in Ramallah is responsible for increasing the understanding and publicity of the PMDP programme, programme support staff as well as all partners, grantees, and other stakeholders on the benefits and work the programme is carrying out. The Communication and Outreach 
Specialist will work closely with the programme team in developing and successfully implementing the communication strategy across the programme for West Bank and Gaza, also ensuring that gender and marginalized issues are addressed. Develop a variety of outreach tools and approaches in collaboration with the PMDP team

Key Skills & Qualification 
- University degree in Communication or social sciences, or other related field is required 
- At least four (4) years of professional work experience in communications for internationally funded programme's. 
- Experience in communications and public relations 2 
- Preferable experience with promoting the inclusion of gender and marginalize groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills Arabic and English

Administrative Assistant - Two Positions: (1) for Gaza Office and (1) for Ramallah Office
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing general office clerical duties and assist the Office Manager in providing logistical and administrative support to PMDP project. This may include work related to programme operations, human resources, procurement of office goods and services, inventory tracking and logistics. He/she will also act as a receptionist for the programme, answering phone calls, directing mail, and assisting visitors as needed. Assist the Office Manager and Technical Staff in data collection and entry and provide any other 
administrative tasks assigned by supervisor to ensure efficient and smooth support to the programme.

Key Skills and Qualifications: 
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any related field, with a minimum of 1 year of work experience. 
- Excellent English and Arabic verbal and writing skills. 
- Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills. 
- Ability to multi-task, organizational, prioritization skills are necessary; 
- Attention to details, initiative, flexible and adaptable to change, 
- Strong computer skills. (Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc...)
