MSF-France “Doctors without Borders” is currently seeking to hire an Outreach Worker for its Psycho-Socio-Medical program in Nablus. The post location will be Nablus City with movements throughout Nablus District, Qalqilya District and North West Bank, mainly in the villages, on a full time basis.

Main goal of this position:

Develop and refine the MSF mental health intervention in communities by analyzing the local context and identifying vulnerable communities/families/individuals, strengthening the existing contact network and developing new ones, representing MSF and reporting.

Requirements:

1-Education: Social Worker/Counselor.

2-Arabic mother tongue; English language proficiency both written and spoken (Mandatory).

3-Natural human touch and diplomacy skills.

4-Good computer (Excel/Word) and report writing skills.

5-Good knowledge of Palestinian tradition and culture.

6-Willingness to work in insecure environment and to accept strict security rules.

7-Strong team spirit.

8-Strong motivation to work with a humanitarian organization.

9-Good organizational skills.

10-Able to recognize own limitations and to seek support from supervisors.

11-Problem solving attitude and able to prioritize the work.

12-Previous experience in mental health is an asset.

13-Previous experience with NGO’S is an asset.
